How to poach salmon


  • STEP 1
    Place water in a deep pan and bring to a boil.
  • STEP 2
    Season boiling water with salt, pepper, lemon or your favourite herbs and spices.
  • STEP 3
    Place salmon portions into boiling water. Cover with lid and reduce to simmer for 5-6 mins. Cooking time may vary with size and thickness of salmon.
